Staff that previously were required to “be available” to answer callers questions, take payments and search out the status of requests in process can now be re-deployed to other assignments. Or, the scope of a Permit and License operation could be enlarged without the need to budget for added staff.
With a touch tone phone, callers can access a Permit Line 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to retrieve Permit and License information.
Utilizing a credit card payment feature, callers may purchase Permits and Licenses and request that they be mailed out, or set aside for later pickup.
