Users refer to the County Transit System as “The Bus Information Line”! Managing a public transportation system that provides convenient passenger service to the public, covering a large geographic area day after day requires a powerful software tool.
This Centurion application provides touch tone callers access to all bus routing, scheduling and fare information, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Information available includes service to festivals, sports events plus holiday schedule changes by route, date and/or time.
Callers are provided the following functions:
- Access to bus schedules by Route number or by a list of Routes.
- Selected route schedules are spoken for the next available bus, balance of today’s schedule, tomorrow, or future date.
- Fare information is spoken for fare categories and ticket outlet menu selections.
- Answers are spoken in response to a selection of most frequently asked questions.
- Schedules and service to festivals, sports or other special events are spoken.
- Information defining various customer services, office hours and holidays is spoken.
- Choose from a listing of all special events occurring within the next 30 days to hear a pre-recorded message of Bus schedules and fares.
No ID number entry is needed to access this script.
