The Treasurers Office has been assigned the responsibility of maximizing the return on investments for governmental bodies within a state. The Treasurer combines revenues from other government agencies and manages the investment funds.
24 hour, 7 day a week telephone access is given to Local Government Pooled Investment funds, available in the form of checking and savings accounts. Using a touch-tone phone, callers can access the following functions:
- Hear the current monthly interest rate.
- Inquire into the balance in checking and/or savings accounts.
- Hear a list of most recent deposits and withdrawals.
- Transfer funds between accounts.
- Deposit and/or Withdraw funds by Wire or ACH.
- Make payments to state programs.
- Change their PIN number to preserve security.
- Hear the holiday schedule for the current calendar year.
